Chariee Reason
MSW, LCSW, Angel Reiki Practitioner
Chariee is IBC's resident Soul Healer/Awakener. She started this journey five years ago when her beloved mama died in 2019 after a long battle stemming from complications from a heart attack. "When she died, my world stopped. I just knew my demise was imminent as well. My mom was my rock, my foundation and I felt lost without her loving and wise guidance. In 2019, I was working in hospice as a bereavement counselor where I helped families navigate the painful journey of grief, but now I was the one in need of comfort and solace. I felt the emotional, mental and physical weight of grief and it was overwhelming.
As I sought to understand my own grief, several individuals entered my life that would transform it forever. I was introduced to energy healing via a friend who had been practicing reiki for many years and explained how reiki can help soothe the emotional pain. And it did. It did that and so much more. Energy work helped me to better myself, my grief and how to continue to move forward and honor my grief and my mom in a meaningful way."

Tara specializes in trauma-informed yoga of all levels. With over 1000 hours of Vinyasa, Yoga Therapy and pre/postnatal training and experience she can teach students of all levels within one class. Tara honors the space of each individual student, in every class, in a welcoming and whimsical way! Come as you are with a favorite yoga mat! Each individual person brings their own lived experiences, which our body stores on a cellular level. Students are welcome to share as much, or as little, about where they are arriving from as desired.
Yoga Therapy is a medically adjacent form of healing, pulling in both Eastern and Western practices for a whole-body witness approach to clinical autonomy. Yoga is, by definition, the purest form of self-study.Feedback from careseekers is a pertinent part of this co-collaboration. Although a lot goes without saying, building a relationship of trust and autonomy is of the utmost importance. Tara’s teacher instilled in her training that, “I, Tara, am a Yoga Therapist, but you are your own Yoga Therapist first” Dani - Pranayoga Institute of Yoga & Holistic Healing.
