About This Event

This is a one-time event focused on supporting those dealing with grief during the holiday season. It is a gentle invitation to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself and create a personal safe haven to take you through the holidays. Through reflection, creative expression, conversation, and holistic practices you'll explore ways to honor your grief and create moments of comfort, connection, and serenity.

What to Bring:

Please bring with you a journal and water or snack if you'd like!

You're also welcome to bring your own favorite pillow, blanket, plushie, totem or any other comfort items that help you relax and settle into the experience.


We provide everything else you need including:

  • Table and Chairs will be provided but you're welcome to use our other seating options!
  • Pillows
  • Blankets
  • Writing utensils and paper if you forget your journal
  • Drawing/sketching utensils

Meet Your Practitioner: Chariee Reason

Chariee is IBC's resident Soul Healer/Awakener. She started this journey five years ago when her beloved mama died in 2019 after a long battle stemming from complications from a heart attack. "When she died, my world stopped. I just knew my demise was imminent as well. My mom was my rock, my foundation and I felt lost without her loving and wise guidance. In 2019, I was working in hospice as a bereavement counselor where I helped families navigate the painful journey of grief, but now I was the one in need of comfort and solace. I felt the emotional, mental and physical weight of grief and it was overwhelming.
