About This Mini-Series

This is a series for remembering ourselves, getting back to our wild souls based on Women Who Run With The Wolves (Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype) by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D.

The Wild Woman archetype is a part of each of us. When we sit together to share old stories about a woman’s journey then her wisdom speaks to us. Each session is stand alone and self contained. There is no need to read the book or be familiar with its concepts. Each session will include an introduction, presentation of a story, time for reflection (journal provided or bring your own) and discussion.

To preserve the calm, healing atmosphere of each session, attendance is intentionally limited.  Smaller group sizes allow everyone the opportunity to fully relax without distractions while creating a peaceful environment where each participant can receive the greatest benefit from the experience.

What to Bring:

Please bring with you a journal and water or snack if you'd like!

You're also welcome to bring your own favorite pillow, blanket, plushie, totem or any other comfort items that help you relax and settle into the experience.

We provide everything else you need including:

  • Table and Chairs will be provided but you're welcome to use our other seating options!
  • Pillows
  • Blankets
  • Writing utensils and paper if you forget your journal
  • Drawing/sketching utensils

What to Expect:

Sessions will follow this format each time:

  • Expectations overview of planned activities and housekeeping rules
  • Opening relaxation and grounding by Tessa to drop into the experience
  • Reading and performance of story by Cindy
  • Open discussion with some thought questions
  • Discussion and deep dive
  • Journaling and Drawing
  • Presentation of Dr. Estes' main ideas related to the story
  • Discussion
  • Closing circle and final shares of experience

Who is Cindy Schrader? She is AMAZING!

Cindy Schrader is a Woman Within initiate and has experience with several systems based on archetypes including Shadow Work, Goddesses in Every Woman and Internal Family Systems. She once got to perform as Wild Woman for a full moon event where participants traveled through the woods and encountered the Shadow Work archetypes. She has studied the book Women Who Run With The Wolves for thirty years and found both wisdom and comfort in it. She has wanted to share the material with other women and is delighted to have the chance to collaborate with InBody to make her dream a reality.
